2026 Spring Regional Conference

We are pleased to announce the Regional Virginia Government Simulation is taking place on March 28, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Building on the success of last year’s event, the spring regional meeting will provide even more opportunities for engagement, learning, and leadership development. Please note that the Eastern Conference (Old Dominion University) will take place on April 11th, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. 

This event is open to all university, college, and community college students across Virginia. Previous participation in the program is not required, and we welcome students from all academic backgrounds to take part in this hands-on experience.

  • Collaborate with peers: Engage in in-person afternoon sessions to draft an incredibly valuable governing document:
    • The Virginia Government Simulation (VGS) Constitution 

The constitution will serve as the foundation for the 2026 Fall VGS Simulation, ensuring that your work directly influences next year's program.

  • Declare your intent for leadership: For those who wish to run for leadership in the fall simulation, you must attend this conference to declare your candidacy. 
  • Convenient Locations: With three regional options, attend a session within two hours of your home, making it easier to continue your involvement in VGS.
