IDEP is excited to announce the first event in its Democracy in Dialogue series!

Launched in celebration of Virginia"s 250th anniversary (VA250), Democracy in Dialogue brings together college students and community members to explore timely and contested public issues. Each session emphasizes respectful disagreement and thoughtful engagement, providing participants with the skills and experiences needed to navigate democratic discourse.

Join us on October 22nd from 6:00 to 8:00pm in MCALC 2104 for pizza while deliberating your questions, concerns, and solutions surrounding VCU student housing and the Richmond 300 rezoning plan directly with Richmond City Council members.

This event is open to all VCU students, staff, and faculty.
